I’m sure everyone will listen to the guy in the pic wearing sweat pants and untied sneakers. That’s the face of professionalism right there.

First of all, "Black Smoke Matters?!" That's just sooooooo original. Second of all, 4000 truckers will not make a difference. Third of all, they are out of touch with reality. I don't know when they are going to realize that nobody cares about truck drivers and the regulations. Fourth of all, I hope none of them have a truck payment coming out at the end of that week

If a entire nation of trucker stopped about oh 10 days... our society would be on the brink of collapse.

4000 aint too shabby, just that many loads more on the freight line to be shipped by others I say. Millions of truckers shut down every day, sometimes twice. It does not hurt anything.

Now the smoke does not exist. It's been canned by the excessive emissions crap so they don't have anything to stand on. Not like the old time old iron working properly upgrade.

I can go on and be difficult. But what most people do not understand is that in order to change the law at the federal level is to submit a bill for debate and passage at the House then the Senate and back thence to President to sign. Done and done. If you can find 535 people who are truckers to do it.

Anything else is a wasted effort spinning money and time.

    TIMPTE 527 Thanks this.

they only "claim" 4,000 drivers.....we do not know that for a fact.

i will never support any shutdown, i never did in all my 40+ years.

if those clowns decide to block off roads, i'd be hoping the police will have a few H.D. wreckers to haul them away..let's see how they like towing fee's, impounding fee's, and maybe even DOT inspections.

you do not close down roads to make your point.

further, this is just another feeble attempt as all the others were in the past.

no mega-carrier will shut down, o/o's that have a big nut to crack, will not shut down, l/o's that have even a BIGGER nut to crack, will not shut down...

if the so-called 4,000 shut down, in a way, that's good, that'll be 4,000 open spots at truck stops, rest areas, for everyone else to use up.

    another farce, coming this way.......pffttt.....
