Sounds like a truck that should be pulling a box.

You'll be regretting not getting a 6x4 when you are stuck halfway up a shallow grade with your tires spinning on any day where the weather isn't sunshine and above freezing.

There is a reason why heavy haul trucks don't care about tare weights. If you skip the 46k rears, heavy duty drive line and full locking diffs, that little bit of money you save with fuel economy and lower up front costs will come back when you have to rebuild your rear end after a year or two.

But turning down an entire aspect of the freight market because you can't haul it due to weight causing traction issues isn't a smart business decision to save a little weight and money upfront.

Because sometimes it is nice to be able to drive a machine on even though it doesn't weigh 100,000.

Not everything that goes on an RGN is heavy. Many of the crates outta the ports might be light but 12' tall or better. What else are you supposed to use?

It's been pulled tight since then, of course working for a municipality we get away with a lot of stuff.
