2003 pete 379 Steering wheel tilt handle removal?

    How do you remove this handle? Trying to install chrome covers can't get around the handle. 2003 pete 379.

    have you tried unscrewing it?

    you might need a small pair of vice grips, maybe use something like a rag on the stick, to prevent scratching it.

    It has to come off before you can remove factory cover and back on after you install new cover there is no room to get a tool behind the cover. Top it off new cover says easy installation.
