My point exactly. A W2 guy that works as a 1099 guy thinking he can deduct all kinds of bs that a W2 guy has to buy with after tax money.

What kind of equipment are you running? Is it a 10 car carrier? Or a full tractor with a 7 or 8 car carrier trailer? Are you willing to train?
-
No, you did not. Based on your thread history, you have only started one thread and this one is it. You are teetering on the brink of recruiting or soliciting in this thread and that is prohibited anywhere on this forum except in the section @bullhaulerswife linked to.REO6205 Thanks this.

So 120k is equal to like a 75,000 w2 or less depending on health insurance. There's your problem. Lots and lots of 2-5 truck companies doing it the right way why can't you

de facto
adj.
In fact or in practice; in actual use or existence, regardless of official or legal status. (Often opposed to de jure.) -
120k is more like 100k w2... 20k differance..at the very most. Becaise 3500 for xtra taxes tjat w2 employer portion that they now dont cover and 17500 cover retirement contributions and health insurance.
You have a very very poor understanding the differance between w2 and 1099.. If your thinking there is a 45k gapRuthless Thanks this. -
When you're a W-2 employee on 1099 you have nothing to deduct because you're not getting depreciation, fuel, repairs, loans, equipment, etc. Your tax burden will be unnecessarily high. Typical estimate is 30-40% more than on W-2 is about equal.

You have no idea what your talking about.....
-
What exactly do you think you can write off on 1099 running somebody else's truck?
-
1099 can take the same standard deduction as the w2... Actualy 1099 has the advantage when it comes to deductiond...
Only tax tax advantage w2 realy has is the 7.5% they emploer pays wjere 1099 has to oay the full 15%...
Each still have to pay same on federal and state and local...
