I know I did wrong, learning from my mistakes now, but still my trainer is kind of ... just there for the trainer pay from what it seemed

So when does the trainer sleep? Cuz mine always slept. While enroute.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

since we were rolling teams because i got my solo done, i would be doing all the driving during the night and he would sleep then wake up to do the day driving

Mine did too. We weren't allowed to drive between 2 am and 5 am. Mine had a dedicated route though. Left monday evening to pick up load. Arrived Wednesday and dropped trailer in yard and practiced backing and all that. Showered and waited for load to leave Wednesday night. Arrived Friday morning. Dropped trailer and went home for the weekend. The picks and drops from base rotated every week. And were either 30 miles to the south or north. But destination was always the same. Spartanburgh.

All that said, you have a sucky trainer. The trainer should have been you're teacher and second set of eyes while you learn ..... It isn't the end of the world. You didn't jack knife or roll over. Somebody will take a chance on you
