How common are 3rd party testing places? Trying to expedite my testing date...

    After today's trailer paperwork mishap, the next test they have available isn't until March 4th. Google is only bringing up places that are schools/want you to take the test at the DPS office(the place that has a two month wait)...that, or the places are 5+ hours away.
    I live in a big city. It doesn't seem like it should be this hard to find a place.
    Is there another name they go by that I could google to search for more?

    It's not me it's the company that doesn't want to pay a CDL driver and myself on the clock plus gas

    Probably not, they schedule a lot of tests and the larger places have more tests to get done, they are appointment only in most places now. There aren't enough CDL examiners to cover the tests in a lot of states

    Thinking about asking if I can pay the other driver cash and put fuel int the truck while not taking pay myself and going to the one that's 130 miles away on Feb 6th. Would cost me about 250 bucks plus lost wages...
