Nothing to process. I was just sharing a recent personal experience on lying brokers, that's all :)

3 whoppers in one stupid loadboard posting LOL. I really have a hard time processing why some brokers have to do that.

What's hilarious is that the ratecon list the shipper as "DISCRETE SHIPPER". I mean, seriously, man?

Yeah, no I got ya. I just can't wrap my head around the triple whammy like that. Like, what did he gain from that? It's not something I understand. I want you guys to have as complete a picture as is possible, because anything else leads to shenanigans in a normal instance....

He had nothing to gain whatsoever. The only thing I can think of is a shipper offers a load booking opportunity to brokers and then said broker post it in a such a way that some other broker or carrier doesn't see it and try to undercut them?

My biggest concern is the brokers credit. No way in hell will I do business with a broker who won't pay their bills on time. Secondly if the broker has a bad attitude they can find someone else. Having a good attitude says a lot to me and I don't trust jerks. If I arrive at the shipper and they want to treat me like crap I simply just leave. I don't want to haul for someone that has the moral integrity of a prostitute. Perhaps my discernment has helped me stay away from crap loads and crappy brokers. I've cursed out brokers before and made them feel like nothing. But I've never done business with a broker that I did not respect. At least a dozen times I've left a shipper telling them they make me feel like I'm in 1930's Germany. One of the reasons why I do flatbed now is because I don't want to be packed in with a bunch of drivers waiting for a forklift driver to stop eating chips and load or unload me.

I had a borkered load where the NAME of the receiver wasn't anywhere on the BOL and caused me to drive past the receiver several times looking for the fictitious name on the BOL.

well along those lines it's amazing how you they can spend millions on a building but can't afford a simple sign ...... and doing buisness under a different name than is on there sign .......the buildings from the 1800s you can understand why the dock is screwed up but on some of these new buildings it's like the dock and truck manuerverin was an after thought ......

If you get a broker who puts their number in place of the shipper I would second guess the situation. Are you driving for someone else's authority? There's some kind of catch here.
Well.. I tried dry van and refer out for about a year. I was absolutely miserable dealing with jerks behind the glass, waiting for incompetent forklift drivers to load or unload me. My solution was to fight the good fight. If they wasted my time I told the broker take their freight and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

However it hurts the wallet, so the next solution was flatbed. I taught myself flatbed and I've been doing it for about 5 months. Only had to leave one shipper because they did not respect my time.

IMO these big shippers know what they can get away with. It makes me sick to my stomach how they treat others. It's morally repulsing.

been awhile since I pulled a flat and I quit due to the wasted time by shippers and recievers ... then went to dry van then reefer then back to dry van . in my experience reefer and flat have a lot more dead time than dry .... but I don't do groceries. ... pay really works out the same for me once it's all figured in
