Hello Drivers: Getting my truck ready for that NY Dot inspection, and trying to replace the Low Air Warning Beeper that's out. I have pulled back the dash and the steering cover but can't locate the part. :biggrin_25510: It is a 2000 Peterbilt 377. Do any of you out there Know where it is? It would be much cheaper for me to replace it myself, only $28.00 at Napa auto. I need to do all the little jobs I can for myself as I don't know what lies around the corner after they inspect it. You never know what there going to find, it is a used truck everything checks good on my end from what I can see not being a wrench.

Thanks for your help as always.

P.S. The Low Air Warning light comes on but no sound.

Mine was by the pedals / fuse panel behind a cover, but that was on a KW. I may be wrong here but I was under the impression that you need a light or alarm to be legal, but not both?

Should be behind the center light cluster, where the check engine light and others are...

not to change the subject , but make sure your abs light comes on , then goes off. it's required. a lot of trucks were "fixed" by removing the bulb. just for conversation, the buzzer on my '94 white-gmc was on the printed circuit board. $800 for the replacement board.no i didn't buy it.johnny

To add in a few other trucks. My old 9400i it was on the fuse panel.
On my current prostar it is inside the dash cluster.

when u pull the center dash section out,it's on the backs side of your warning light panel. it is connected to the circuit board of the light panel,it has 3 wires that lead to it from the main circuit board. i think the Peterbilt light panel cost $250

there are 2 of them. both located behind the bottom cover, behind the clutch pedal on the floor air blocks.
