I'm definitely planning on replacing the sensor and ohm testing the wires for it.
I cannot take it to the cat dealer because they will try to flash their factory file and I don't want to lose my current file so that's no go. But I'll have a local shop scan it on monday.
And just for sake of entertainment I'll video tape the flashes so you guys can see it yourselves.Muddydog79 Thanks this. -
Yes my boost is around 26-28 psi
I haul same loads in the same areas and the engine does not act differently -
Here is the video of the flash codes -
Definatley an 2-6 and an 8. Just a fyi, i had flash codes that would not show up on the computer when i had to replace the ecm. Computers do crazy things sometimes. Guess u got the 6nz file now?
Padwalz Thanks this. -

Does that mean I have to find a new ecm?.. That's some sh!tty pizza...
Is Mr. Haney still around this forum? -
I had a new ecm diagnosed and installed by cat last year. 2300 bucks total out the door. I brought it to cat becuase it wouldn’t stop flashing a check engine code saying “sensors not calibrated”. Internal battery or something took a dumpPadwalz Thanks this.

Personally i would fix the pressure sensor and wouldnt worry about the flash code 8 unless it starts acting crazy. Then check out fixing the ecm or replacing.Cam Roberts Thanks this.

Yeah, I'm taking care of the sensor tomorrow and seeing what happens from there.
If I need a new ecm I'll know what to expect.Oxbow and Muddydog79 Thank this.
