How many freight haulers can pass a math test. That’s the real reason for ELDs

    What do you mean?
I think the real reason for ELOGs was because solo drivers were driving 5 thousand miles a week.

I mean they are ignorant and the megas that hire them know it. Therefore they must be micro managed. Because they can’t even be trusted to take a shower

Cherry picking one part of what I said just shows your ignorance.

You’ll be happy to know that I have an eld in the truck I own now. And it trips to driving at 5mph. And last week I turned 4162 miles in 5 days all while being 100% legal on my log.

They compiled data on every tractor trailer wreck since April, 2018 when the grace period ended. So far every driver said they wrecked because they were staring at their ELD counting down the minutes til they had no where to park.

Sure you can, it just requires unlimited numbers of people doing an infinite amount of work, for all eternity. Problem solved

Actually I agree. Just always thought it was ironic for Walmart, the Pinnacle of safety and professionalism to allow such things. It's almost like they carved out their own little exemption when it comes to hiring for DC's that need drivers.
I guess anything 750 miles outside the hiring area they just give to US Express?
It always and will forever be about personal responsibility. Not silly regulations. We need better drivers, not better rules.
