Just because the title is Service Manager doesn't mean he's God. The spec I have is Cummins' spec........and like I said can be used for any engine. Some company's have different specs, Duralite CACs will be different from Behr.......But if this is enough boost for Cummins.....it is a good spec.

That is the most outrageous comment that I have seen in a long time. Since Cummins, Detroit, Cat and every truck manufacturer put out quality, defect free products everytime, I suppose I should just trust their judgements? I don't think so.

That is their WARRANTEE spec which means that if it is outside that spec they would have to replace it at their cost. Hmmmm....I think Cummins wants to replace all kinds of CAC's that leak coming out of the factory, so therefor they set their warrantee specs at a "Good Enough" level. Gee...makes perfect sense to me. Now let's all bow down to the cummins gods and say than you for their unbelievable wisdom and desire to help someone other than themselves make a profit.

cummins wouldn't have to replace the cac it is an oem piece not a engine manufacture piece that is there spec at which there will be a noticeable loss of power

You need to calm down guy... How about we not assume everyone a money hungry SOB and maybe, just maybe they wouldn't want to ruin their name and then therefore fixing defects. Plus, like cumminspwr600 stated, the CAC is OEM installed; usually Behr or Duralite.
As far their other specs at a "good enough" level, I work on Cummins all day everyday and their specs are designed to keep their engine running at a top notch level. Warranty or not, the spec does not change.

    So.......bow down.
