Did you have your own authority for those two months that you were leased on?

No I had my own truck and took the advice of you guys to get leased on first for experience but figured out how to do my dispatcher's job in a short period. He was learning how to do things more efficiently from me.

Lol I always say I can screw things up just as good as the next Guy. Win Lose or Draw. Better on my own. I wonder what % of all Drivers are Independant. What’s the total ant of Drivers? Does anyone know? Ive read in Landline the O/O #s but forgot

Fedex route drivers, small contractors with one "big" truck to haul the backhoe, farms, septic companies..... the list is endless. OTR is only a small slice.

I just want to be able to say “ I’m in the Top 1% ( or whatever %) Catagory. Lol . The Lower the better. More Impressive Lol. Funny thing is the only Time I mention being an O/O is when I’m asked “ Who do you drive for?” Once while faxing BOL to a Broker, a Driver says “ I never have to do that, and disgustingly asked “ Who do you drive for?” I replied “Myself”. Otherwise for some reason when mentioned, it ends the conversation. I don’t know why.

That would be the correct answer regardless of who owns the truck.
