Anyone here run ISX 475 HPs that know what rpm that engine gets the best fuel milage.
I know running slow will usually get you best milage but below 65 mph i get boooored to death and start falling asleep!![]()

that's my engine as well. Only had it for a week. Anyway if the ondash computer can be relied upon, the fuel mileage drops off after 1350.

i think that would depend entirely on how you're geared and what tranny you have. i'm a company driver so i don't really pay much attention to the mileage, but i feel pretty lucky that most of the trucks i've driven over the last 8 years have been isx powered. it's a VERY dependable motor in my opinion.

Cool i pull 1400 at 65mph if i go tall rubber ill pull 1400 at 68mph.

The ISX has peak torque around 1300 - 1450 rpm's. After that it starts to drop off so as long as you keep it between 1300 and 1450 you should begetting some good fuel mileage.

2003 pre egr -
we have a 06 isx in our fleet that we started running recently ,our 00 6nz c-15 gives 20 litres better mpg than the isx hauling same load wit same driver
