Hi there,I am the OP, here are the tickets and inspection report
2) On the ticket for $390 The Officer put "Queen Elizabeth Way Westbound' but I was headed back to Toronto when this happen so the tickjet should read "Eastbound"
3)There is no "Westbound" inpection station in Lincoln.
Can this be a factor??

Well as far as the tickets go I dont think there's anything to fight no pre trip inspection which must be done every 24 hours and blowing by a scale that's a big screw up but if you have the time I would fight them iv seen tickets get thrown out just because the officer didn't do the paperwork right or he might not show up the day of the court you never know . That fail to stop I'll bet it's at least 5 cvor points

1)5 CVOR points how bad is that?
2)Onthe ticket it says Westbound there is no Westbound Inpection station on QEW in Lincoln Ont. could I stand a chance here? -
Well I'm not sure the Ontario Cvor point system makes no sense to me but all that will show on your cvor when you get one from the mto if you apply for a new job. Also all that will show on the company's cvor that you were driving for. How many points your allowed or what's the max until your done that I dont know. If you dont have anything elts bad on your record and you have at least a couple years experience I dont think it will kill ya

Thanks Nick but do you think this is a factor :2)Onthe ticket it says Westbound there is no Westbound Inpection station on QEW in Lincoln Ont. could I stand a chance here?

I don't know maybe. All I know is lots of tickets get thrown out because mto and the cops dont do the paperwork right and the courts are so backed up that you do have a slight chance of it getting thrown out
-
Yes
I got a ticket carrying 3 cvor points thrown out back in 2014. Still had the points for 3 years on personal cvor and 2 on my company cvor. Lucky for me I don't get in trouble too often so I'm clean again now. Knock on wood..
That scale is indeed westbound... -
okThanks guys

Just for clarity in case someone is reading this thread later; this information is not correct for Canada which is where the OP was stopped. As @Nick34 correctly mentioned, a vehicle inspection as per NSC Standard 13 is required every 24 hours (when operated) as a minimum, and a report must be completed and carried in the truck.

Have you informed your company? I think CVOR points stay on for 5 years. They affect you personally AND the company you haul for. Too many points company wide can affect how many trucks a company is allowed to run. Your company may be very interested in fighting it.
