Trip permit every time. Yeah summer I’d start earlier and things start and load better, dry deck dry tires etc. I had to wait at the dealer for an hour to that didn’t help.

At least getting the permits must go pretty quickly.
I'm not sure how long it will last because they rely on the honor system, but I like how Idaho offers annual osow.
Send in axles and spacings, they give you max gross and max group for each highway designation, route capacity map, and vertical clearance map. $128 per year.
You must track your ow miles and weight, and then pay quarterly based on that. Starts @ $.04 per mile up to $.70 per mile if you are maxing out your permit (138000 on 6 with my current truck).
Maybe it's more burdensome in the long run, but they do not require scale tickets to verify weight, and no waiting for the permit office, which, with as remote as some of our state is with lack of cell service is good.MartinFromBC, cke, stwik and 8 others Thank this. -
That does sound good, the wait isn’t to bad most times. If the route passes analysis and you’re paying full price it’ll auto issue. If it’s a public project or needs manual oversight it takes longer.

Is those the first pc360’s you guys got? I move a fair number of them. They must be a decent machine. Or priced really cheap

Yep first ones, we have other Komatsu’s but these are the first 360’s.

Yeah but it gets daylight 4 hours earlier!
