ETMF 58 WHITE, I just checked for the first time since posting that I will calculate the situation for you. Looks like you haven't gotten the weights yet and that is ok. I been crazy busy myself. I do not check this site often, but will try and check back every few days. It won't take too long to calculate.

Calculating is easy, but you will not be accurate if the empty weights and swing is not accurate.

5AC7AEC8-58D3-4457-B3A2-192519C21544.jpeg Thanks to all for the help and ideas. I did measure the swing clearance and it is definitely 95 inches. I’ve attached my empty weight so Heavyhaulshotcaller can work on the calculations.
For whatever it’s worth, I really think my truck will be fine for heavy hauls up to the 125k range. It has plenty of power, the 18 speed has plenty of gears, and I’ve not had any trouble untracking, even with the 350 excavator on a dirt or gravel construction site. Today I hauled a dozer and my gross weight was 92k, and I never had to downshift between Little Rock and Texas, except for splitting high gear a couple of times. Set the cruise on 70 and ride with the big dogs.

    Google Talbert Calculator.
You can input your measurements and get some rough ideas.
The Jeep is going to have to be as short as possible without hitting the truck in turns, so that you can have the main trailer kingpin as far forward as possible. Otherwise you won't be able to split the weight, and the Jeep axle will be overloaded long before the drives hit 40.

    SAR Thanks this.

    so many replies.

thats great. i hope we are helping each other. here is my latest, greatest configuration. i was having a bit of a hard time getting enough weight forward onto the truck and jeep axles. often with an 80k load i was over 60 on the trailer. so now i'm all set. 154k gross. 14 / 60 / 60 / 20. i could have just added the 4th trailer axle without the stinger but this way i'm good in az and i get the full 80k everywhere. of course it goes unsaid that cal is out forever because of the jeep and now the east coast stinger. thanks to all for participating. don

my jeep takes exactly 31% of the combined load of drives and jeep. i have no sliding 5th wheel on the jeep. i guess XL just made it perfect.

Um, not to be a Debbie Downer but you cannot get 14/60/60/20 on that set up in AZ....Unless they changed the rules since I left home 3 weeks ago. Class C tridem bonus permits are only good upto 140k gross. Over that number and use must use axle weight table weights.

    SAR and cke Thank this.

Here is a screen shot direct from the permitting system. No Class C tridem for over 140k

No idea what you got or asked for...

Sorry for the delay. With the #s on the truck you gave me a 95" swing on the trailer will work as long as the jo dog jeep is spec'ed correctly. I calculated 106" from kingpin of jeep to the axle of jeep and the 5th wheel of jeep is 41" behind kingpin of jeep. With the load calculated in the trucks splits 40k on the drives and 20k on the jeep axle and throws a little weight to the steer axle. This is roughly a 84" swing and 79" axle spacing from last drive to jeep axle, so you can comfortably adjust those measurements to allow re-adjustment on the weight distribution if you want to.

But all in all it will work.

Here is attached weight distribution. This will just clear for a 95" swing trailer neck
