BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Authorities say a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times outside a trucking school in Connecticut, where he's a student.
The Connecticut Post reports (1 in critical condition after daytime Bridgeport shooting) that the student was critically injured in Saturday morning's shooting on the campus of the New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Bridgeport but is expected to survive.
Police Lt. Christopher LaMaine says the student was confronted by a lone gunman as he walked to his car during class. LaMaine says the gunman opened fire "without provocation." He says the man was shot several times, including once in the head.
Police say the shooting was captured by nearby cameras.
LaMaine says the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
