I'm so sick of the "all about me" trend he pumped up during his term. Everyone was "entitled" to everything it was ridiculous.

 

After 2 years of having to use Pilot/FJ exclusively, I much rather like using Loves. I've had few problems with having to wait on others.
Many times I have had to back out of the fuel aisle at pilots. Except for 1 tiny loves in (I think NJ, maybe PA, can't remember) with 3 fuel lanes have I had a problem.
I just hate the "Hi, welcome to loves"

 

I'm probably in the minority, but I kinda like it.

I know it's a corporate thing, but I like some simple acknowledgement when I enter a business.

I'm old enough to remember when most retail employees did that without being told.......

 

No I fuel and go, I don’t need a receipt, and if I need a burger I park. So if you need a burger park in a spot don’t block the exits.

 

I've been the guy blocking the pump. Go in to find the loser who's been parked in front of me for the last half hour. Spend 15 minutes trying to find some employee who isn't pretending to be busy. Come out, dude in front of me is gone and I'm the A-Hole. Such is life.

If that hasn't happened to you, good chance you're also the driver that can do 80mph up hill loaded, is never late, shippers stay late for, receivers open early for, cops pull you over just to shake your hand and tell you good job......

 

It's nice to hear that you parked instead of leaving it at the pumps

 

I've recently changed my position on this. I worked for severely years driving for a company that fueled at one specific place that there was always a fuel lane available, but with this new job that gives me the option of basically fueling anywhere I've had different experiences. I've recently had drivers pull behind me and not fuel at all and want out almost immediately so now I pull into a parking spot or somewhere were I'm not in the way.
