Yes. Dispatchers working from Europe. And the way they pay them is shorting the driver miles.
Example paid for miles are 700 yet the actual trip id 760. The miles they skim off goes to pay dispatch.

Just stay away from them folks,I just cleaned out my truck today.

Maybe drivers should demand $2000 deposit from these types of companies as condition of employment whether 1099 or not.
ChicagoTrucker! and Lonesome Thank this. -
That would be nice

watch out is all I can say, I just tried it with a company named global sunrise, old equipment, 2 week hold back, plus they take money $200 out of your pay till you have 2000 held, and 300 for cleaning the truck if you don't stay. They don't pay. my check for the 1st month was for $516. still waiting for balance, ran 3600 miles in 3 weeks, be careful

Like anything just have to find the right one that fits you -
Between being told to abused the hell out of personal conveyance and recruiters, dispatchers that don't speak English very good. Run.
When you can't understand what the recruiter is saying it's probably not going to get any better once you get hired and to hell with 1099 jobs now that Trump has took away all deductions.
It always makes me laugh when the news talks about a driver shortage. Apparently treating people like crap and ripping them off on money they have coming a hundred different ways, insane people in the big cities, waiting to deliver loads for 2 days unpaid, in living in a truck where your dispatcher text you every 5 minutes and ask you an ETA to where you don't even have time to take a shower or grab a meal. then they wonder why no one wants to do this crap.
