Never had the pleasure, that's exactly why I dont usually mess with Loves. The way my runs are I dont sleep at truck stops, so they are strictly fuel stop/30 minute break locations for me.

    I'm behind loves 100 percent.
I wish I could buy stock in them.

    Pump a 1000 gallons in a month
Is all you need to do.
    After that :
    3 points per gallon,including def.
    free showers everyday ,
Free coffee and fountain drinks everyday.

They keep my fridge full on the road just
From the points they give me.
And none of them charge a penny to park.

If I have to spend any of my money on
The road for something,I always do it at
A loves if at all possible.

That's my way of saying thanks for the
Free food and electronic gadgets I get
For my truck for free with all of the points
    They give me.

There putting up more loves than all other
    Truck stops combined.
Seems like I pass a new one everyday.

    T/a / petro and pilot,
    Standing around twiddling their thumbs
    Like Kmart in the 1970'S.

We're not worried about some old man
Wearing overalls driving a beat up pick up truck.
Selling things for a few pennies cheaper than us.
Sam Walton, sounds like some guy from
Little house on the prairie. Lol.
We all know how that ended.

If there's one thing I learned in my 25 years
    Out here is.
He who pumps the most diesel wins.
That's the bottom line to these truck stops.
We're buying everything else we need
While we're getting fuel,so we don't have to
    Stop twice.

There 3 deep at the loves for fuel.
There's 3 open lanes almost all the time
    At the t/a and petro.
    Sometimes there completely empty.
I say good riddance to them and their
    20 dollar parking spots.

Knock that down to 930 miles when the one in Missoula opens up. Lol.

Now that I’m back running the Midwest I find myself fueling at Loves a lot just for the fact that there are a ton of them.

Lol you're doing exactly what they want you to do. You're paying up to $0.50 more per gallon, and they're giving you $0.10 back in points. "But look at all this 'FREE' stuff we're giving you!"

If you would just buy the less expensive fuel, then actually PUT ASIDE the difference in cost that you would have paid, you'd be able to get 4x the 'FREE' stuff they're 'giving' you. smh

I’m glad Loves is expanding at the rates they are but I don’t see this as any sort of indication they are somehow guaranteed more long term success than PFJ or others. Like PFJ, they will soon reach a plateau.

You really better hope both PFJ and Loves and TA remain strong and profitable. As long as there are 2 or more (preferably 3 or more) strong competitors, we, the consumers, benefit. But if it ever becomes an effective national monopoly, we are all equally screwed, irrespective of our loyalties or preferences.

    .50 cents a
.50 cents a gallon more on 200 gallons is $100 more every fill up. Oh but you get $10 dollars worth of free stuff?? Wow thats impressive!!!! I suppose they buy stuff just cause its on sale too lol. The problem is people dont use a calulator anymore. And the common sense theory went out the window long before my day. I think my Grandfather has mentioned common sense tho

I can fuel any place. Normaly loves for the x4 points. But just the other day loves i checked on my route was all backed up with only 1 or 2 pumps working. So i went across the street to a emprt speedway with 4 working pumps and fueled with no delay. Better than the 3 hrs wait at the loves lined out around the block...

They're putting them up fast, some fairly close together. New one going in at Hampshire, IL on I 90, and another at x27 on I 80 in IL near Atkinson where that old truck stop had the restaurant burn up back in 2005 IIRC.

Their service trucks are busy, too, see them anywhere there is a Loves nearby.

Do you actually pay for the fuel or are you spending someone else's money? The lines I see at Loves are just stupid, I don't have the patience to sit in line for 20 minutes to get fuel. The whole "but they give me free ####" argument doesn't work, there's no such thing as free, you're paying for it somewhere.
