passport card is only good on land or water into Canada or mexico. full passport is good land, water, or air anywhere in the world. that,s the difference.

Yep, crazy. I mean, unless you live in Toledo. I've never even been on the Indiana Toll Road or Ohio Turnpike and I've been here six months.

Hi i was just looking into roehl and wandering can i get some feed back by someone answering these questions. Is roehl inexperienced traing long or is it breif, is the equipment good, do they run you anywhere, what speed are there trucks governed, are the miles good, what is the hometime deal, and do they treat their drivers good.
I Know I know its alot of questions but ill sure appreciate it.

A little advice, no matter where you go to work right now it will be tight on miles, corporate looking to cut fat i.e. unproductive employees and so on.
good luck -
Yup, I cornered my DSR in Marshfield the other day and got the same answer.

Hello ; I am a newbie and start my orientation on April 6th in Gary,In. Was talking to a Roehl driver thats on the 7/7 program and she said she gets more miles doing this then when she was on the 7/3-7/4. What should I expect? and with spring around the corner will loads pick up? Lets just hope I made the right decision going with Roehl over the other companies I turned down!! Or did I make the right choice?

I have been told more than once that the pecking order for loads is o/os first, hometime fleets second then regional and national fight it out after that. I'm on 7/4-7/3 and have more than one regional driver tell me I get as many or more miles than they do, but I get more hometime. If I break my miles down by pay period I have been averaging about 1700 per paycheck. I started first of July and this has been my average since that time.

I moved from 7-4 7-3 to the national fleet becauswe I could not live on 1060 miles in 7 days out. With freight so slow if you dont get a good launch load you are locked into staying in the area of your home terminal or yard so you can be back for the next drivers launch. With so little freight they cant always find a load home if you are far away with only a few days left so you end up with short relays and sitting close to home.I really liked the 7-4 7-3 and had good drivers in my group but the miles probably werent averaging more than 1300 per seven days out.

I have a question? Are truck drivers covered under OSHA?I am just getting started on getting my CDL and dont pretend to have ANY answers, but if drivers are covered under OSHA then anything a company requires you to have the company has to provide. If it is just "suggested " then they dont. Might check into it as see.
