Depends how big a car hauler. I had a car delivered from L.A. and it showed up on a 3( or 4) car trailer with a Ram dually pulling it, and I'm sure that was an automatic.
Cam Roberts and BigBob410 Thank this. -
Virginia has a few. Moore uses some. I don't know any that have autos exclusively but there out there. I'm curious why you ask.
-
I drive for Moore and I drive a Volvo day cab with an auto shift. Love it. Over 38 years I've done all the shifting I need to do. Although our sleeper trucks have sticks.

One of the reason I ask is I hauled cars from 2011-2014 in a Pete 379. I got out of the biz and let my CDL expire. Now I have a auto only CDL and considering getting back into the game. I like the auto trucks and hate the process of removing the restriction at the DMV.

What area are you from?

I’m in lynchburg, Virginia.

I just delivered there day before yesterday. Just my opinion but Moore and Virginia are probably your best bet to stay in an automatic. I know VTC has at least 1 guy with an automatic restriction. I was at the shop when they were getting a truck ready for him.BCV Thanks this.
