Well looking at Ship Ex and will be putting in an application. I spoke to the recruiter and I looked at few videos on Youtube about you all. I don't like jumping ship, but been at my current company two years and I am getting tired of the up and down in pay. What's attracting me is the salary. I saw one of your trucks at a Flying J out in PA, a few weeks ago and I saw one of the little recruiting postcards. I have seen your trucks around here and there on my travels over the last 7 years. Will keep you all posted on my progress. Keep the info coming. Nervous and excited at the same time.

 

I had a discussion with a shipex guy in order to make70000 plus a year u would have to run 3000 miles every week to hit there bonus if u don’t hit 3000 miles u get your Salary. So what 1154 for 2999 miles if u miss the bonus sounds kinda cheap to me

 

Everyone does things for different reasons. I will just speak for myself, the salary is great as I have a wife and 4 children, mortgage, 2 vehicle payments. I know I won’t go bankrupt and lose everything unless i lose my job. I came for the slary and company paid health insurance, if I get a bonus that is cool for me, if not I did the math for budgeting and it works for me. It really breaks down to 165.00 a day 365 days a year. If the weather is bad we shut it down, it doesn’t matter if there is traffic or live load and unload times. I am not trying to sell you on this company, however I have hardly any stress anymore on the road and I have money left after I pay my bills for the first time in a long time.
