red label Brake Kleen, Trichloroethylene works. Most chlorinated solvents [ozone depleting] work real well.
I remember one dispatcher using Perchloroethylene [old ozone un-friendly dry cleaning fluid] from sample botttles, long forgotten in storage, to clean her white sneakers... -
Ether worked good.
Now, does anybody have any tips for regrowing eyebrowsDan.S and Cam Roberts Thank this. -

I never get grease on me when I flip the release button from inside my cab.

^^^ This! I had one for awhile in a company truck. Man, that'll spoil you.
I have found that the best way to get 5th wheel grease off anything is to wear nice clothes. As soon as you walk anywhere near your truck all the grease is off the truck and on to your nice clothes. It works awesome!SteveScott and InTooDeep Thank this. -
I use brake cleaner also. Also cigarette lighter fluid does a good job, off my clothes when i get grease on them. Charcoal lighter fluid also. Carry gritty hand cleaner and extra water to clean hands if i have to do a repair.

Fire would get it off

simple green works pretty good, you can also add it to the laundry. I use the degreaser/cleaning wipes for my hands. forget the name of them, they come in a plastic container. sold at auto parts stores, walmart, etc.
