1st of all if you're planning your budget based on bonuses that means you must be living beyond your means because they're bonuses simply because they're extra you should never figure bonus money into a budget...
Intothesunset, atruckr, ncmickey and 1 other person Thank this. -
I don’t know who would ever base a budget off of bonuses because bonuses are not garunteed. I was laid off, a salaried job and found one that actually pays 11,000 per year more, plus my health insurance is paid by the company. So I believe my budget is just fine, especially when my spending did not increase. Was at a milage job after the salaried position was ended, and didn’t like up and down paychecks. I like garunteed money vs. up and down.mattbh23 Thanks this.

This is the thing ..yeah sounds cheap but when go home your still getting paid, broke down? Still getting paid, customers can't get you loaded, still getting paid, weather bad, still getting paid. It makes trucking for me a lot more enjoyable. Other companies advertise up to $75000 a year etc .. key words are (up to). Sure if everything goes perfectly all year you might make that but the risk is all on the driver's because they are cents per mile. Truck don't move you don't get paid. Here truck don't move i still get paid as long as your not just being a dumb lazy ###. Sure i won't make that bonus every month but i will get a few of them and that's just icing on the cake.layover6 said: ↑I had a discussion with a shipex guy in order to make70000 plus a year u would have to run 3000 miles every week to hit there bonus if u don’t hit 3000 miles u get your Salary. So what 1154 for 2999 miles if u miss the bonus sounds kinda cheap to meClick to expand...Intothesunset, GladhandSW, Vic Firth and 2 others Thank this.
