Does Florida still require an over-length permit for 80’?

Yes. For car haulers it's the rear overhang that will get you exceeding 80' and that's when you get an annual permit online through Florida DOT for $20. The permit will allow you 3' of rear overhang and 5' of front overhang in excess of the 80'.

Florida has an over all length of 75 ft if the kpra exceeds 41 ft.
