Like someone else said. My truck is paid off also. The last 40 years i thought i was a owner op. Paid other trucks off, free and clear. Still at it, driving MY TRUCK. Now you broke my bubble. Guess I'm not owner op..oh well...highwayMike and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
That’s not true. Utilizing an established company can be benificial in a lot of ways. I own 4 trucks, 3 are paid off. I run under another carriers authority by choice. They have staff to deal with dot and safety, they help make sure all paperwork is in order. I don’t have to worry about every little thing. I can even use them during emergency breakdowns. Every successful company requires a team. Trying to do things on your own is the main cause of failure in trucking because mistakes cost money.

Seriously? Is that how you think ? Ok. Good luck to you .

You can pay anything you want and buy as many trucks as you want , but you are not and you know it .
You are someone’s baby. -
is not about being someone baby or not is about taking in the money without the responsibility a little visit from dot into your office can cost you thousands if you don't know what are you doing so let someone else take the hit for that 10% or whatever and keep your trucks moving, many people will fail because the don't have the right people around them and if he feels good with the team he has around its good.
Mississippitrucker2, highwayMike and Ghost23 Thank this. -
