Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I would recommend spending several hours researching the forum. It seems the industry is flooded right now with displaced workers causing limited opportunities and depressed wages and very poor life/work balance...especially for the inexperienced.
When it rains on the economy, it pours on the trucking industry. Now may be the time to circle the wagons with your current situation until the economy finds equilibrium and it swings again towards being an employees rather than employers market.
Just my opinion, there are many others with more relevant experience who will be glad to chime in. Welcome to the forum btw.

Good advice.!

Thanks all. I have read about how hard it is to find a trucking job right now. JB Hunt's websight says they take co driver with 3 months exp??????
-
oops.....website....lol
-
For all major carriers that has to be recent experience . If you've been off the road more than 6 months or so you'll have to pay to take a refresher course .
-
That would have to be recent experience I am sure. Plus check out the thread with the JB recruiter that is docked in the 'Bad Trucking Companies' area of the forum.
That one is a real eye opener!
-
I think most companies will want you to take a refresher course. I am getting back into trucking and have to take a refresher.
-
How much do these refresher courses usually cost?
-
Im going to Sage and it is going to cost $1,500 for the 40 hr course.
