It is not about "Cost effective" get all that babbley speaky out of your head. NYC Tolls are a punitive act designed to raise money from people who have more money than brains to stay off it.
//tease. Probably all those pensions that are pushing the GWB toll from 12 dollars to 100 then towards 200.
If you are a trucking company, pass the cost of the tolls onto your customers. 9times of 10 they don't know much or care. Personally Ive always like the PA Pike for it's ability to bypass a truly dangerous stretch of mountains in winter, it would be raining up here while it's ferocious snowing there.

Take that route and after that punishment. Next time you say screw that and just pay the toll.

The port authority also owns the world trade center. Rebuilding that not pensions are what all the toll increases are about.
Oh sorry you knew that, but just like to north east bash? -

Hey Adegon, Isn't 278 a no truck zone?
-
Ruthless, isn't 278 a no truck zone?
-
No. It’s for trucks from one end to the other. I bet someone that doesn’t know comes on to tell us how the part by the parkway is restricted- and it’s not.
278 is truck friendly from the BX to Jersey. 13’6 or better the whole way.Big_D409 Thanks this. -

Cuts the turnpike tolls some but the top half is the highest cost per mile though in a snow storm, the local roads can be the best way to go.

I’m from jersey. Honestly just take the tolls and pass the cost to your client. All the stop and go you’re going to be doing on the US highways will run up your fuel and maintenance costs.
Tombstone69, wis bang and buzzarddriver Thank this.
