Everybody says don't haul cheap Freight somebody tell me what. are good rates and how to get it when brokers have everything sewed up.. Im currently hauling in the Midwest dry van.

You don't need us to tell you that. Figure out what your total per mile cost of doing business is. Then you can figure out what you need for rates.

Members here are constantly complaining about O/O that haul "cheap freight" and drag the rates down, but refuse to qualify their idea of cheap freight.

It's another of those "how high us up?" questions. A low rate for one guy might be acceptable to another depending on their operating costs.
We have an OO on here who's bound and determined to make it on $1.30 a mile.
We have another that won't even start his truck for less than $2.50.
