Usually coffee maker require 900- 1000 watts. If 1500 inverter can't handle it check inverter connection to the battery. loose dirty connection will trip low voltage protection in inverter. Also 12v power supply cables should be as short as possible and 0 or 00 gauge.

I don't know if it's any good but here's a 12 volt coffee maker on Amazon. I'd paste the link but it's a mile long.

Anything 12 volts is fire hazard or electrical system damage.
Those receptacles rated for 10 -15 amps maximum. What is 10 amps it's only 120 watts of heating power. More power thirsty pots will blow the fuse, if you put the oversize fuse it will burn the truck.

Says it took about 12.5 amps and that it took about 30 minutes to brew a pot, those are the good things the bad things are a lots of the reviews are negative, nothing about blowing fuses but people talking about the cord starting to smoke and it only working two or three times before it quit.
so I don't think I would be concerned about it being a fire hazard it's not like you're turning it on and walking away from it. And as far as electrical system damage I'm pretty sure that's why they put 15 amp fuses inline of the power accessory ports.
But after reading the reviews it does sound like a piece of crap.

I bought one of those 12v pots many years ago. It was so slow that by the time the coffee finally was done I didn't want it anymore

    fss99701 Thanks this.

I've used those 12v appliances. Those sockets don't last long in a FL. Had to use the invertor just to charge my phone. The sockets got so weak.

I have a 1500w inverter in my truck. When they installed it, the inverter would reset while brewing coffee. Wouldn't even reset when attempting to use the microwave. Come to find out the guy installed a circuit breaker in line. SOP from what I have learned, but the company wanted to save money so they bought cheap breakers. When several drivers started having the same issue, company broke down and bought good ones. Now I have no problem whatsoever. I bought a 9.99 Walmart special 5 cup coffeemaker. With my travel mug, I can take a 20 ounce bottle of water and make the perfect cup. I have a 750w microwave and it works great as well. I don't try to use both at the same time, so no issues. One thing I learned previously about "dirty power" from trying to power my ps4, if you go get a good surge protector (not the $5 ones in the bargain bin) and plug your devices into that, no resetting. I also tried one of those 12v coffee makers. Threw it in the garbage. Maybe got a couple uses out of it before the plug melted and fused into the socket. Had to replace the socket, but that could have been a lot worse.
