You think Yunick Motorsports is a Caterpillar TEPS dealer... That's funny. Selling deleted engines on eBay would be a dead give away that they are not
Rebuilt Caterpillar C-13 single turbo engine's with regent, & actuator delete | eBay

Hah, I looked at the ad......."Certified Caterpillar Dealer", me thinks Caesar was trying embelish the status of that engine builder.

And that was mean @spsauerland , now he will spend hours trying to find out what TEPS means.

The simple fact is, Cats are being put in trucks even now, and nobody wants to retrofit his truck with Paccar MX. Even if you compare models from same age, how many xf 95 are left on the road?

About the same numbers off old Volvo,Scania,Mack,KW,.....which nobody really knows.
    Why don't we really know?
Because most off them are abroad.
And those countries don't really keep good stats.
With the EU trucks the % off shipped abroad trucks is much higher due to the tax and pay per mile roadtax systems.

In fact you asked a unfair loaded question just to prove a point which isn't right.

    I won't agree this time.

Here in domestic Polish transport really old trucks are still working, no problem to find 4 serie Scania, no problem to find Volvo FH12 (2nd gen), the early XF105 really hold no value and slowly is being considered the cheap&crap truck, xf95 is gone at this point.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Where i live the very few old Scania you still see are diehard T model fans and we are talking not low but very low numbers.
    Old Volvo's................none.
Plain and simple ,they are all shipped abroad allready.
A Volvo you keep for 6y max and then you sell it to go abroad.

XF95...........yes we have them still running and i could use them to prove how good Daf's are but i would be twisting the facts if i did because they are also in low numbers.
Old XF 105 ...........plenty off those.(for our NA friends, those are non EGR DEF only engines)
    Plenty off cheap parts availeble.

All EURO 5 models, doesn't matter which brand, hold no value.
Means nothing as to the state or quality off those trucks ,the reason is in the roadtax which is based on per mile and emmissions level.

I'm not talking about king of the road fans, just trucks used for dumpers and containers, normal jobs, were it makes no sense to get E6 truck.

Here in Poland the difference for different euro generations is not big in price per km, I just need new trucks because my trucks do a lot of international work.

As long as I've seen this thread run, I've never commented because I never drove a European truck. HOW CAN I HATE SOMETHING ........You know? I would be willing to guess that 99 percent of the people posting here have never driven a European truck either. Put it to bed.
