MR Mustard should have been the one to back out of it, when he saw passing was going to be that hard. Instead of pushing an issue fall back and pull back into line. It does go both ways I agree.

Having driven governed trucks, I've done the same thing in the past. However, I also never stepped out into the left lane where I knew I'd be in a drag race for 5-10 miles either. I don't expect anyone to change their procedures just because I was stupid enough to try to pass someone going .5 mph slower than me. If I get aggravated enough, I'll stop at a rest area or a truck stop for a couple minutes and I'll probably never see that guy again before I reach my destination.
What is the person in the left lane losing by staying in the right lane or doing like I suggested above?

I find it quite funny how all the 61-62 mph drivers posting here have all the answers to how everybody else around them should drive.

For the record, ultimately it's the driver in the hammer lane playing largecar who should be backing out of it, not the guy in the granny lane. The end.

BE the BETTER man. let the "super trucker" by..... back off and fall in line..... whatever the case may be, BE THE BETTER MAN.

So I guess in your world I don't have a right to pass a slower truck. if I'm governed at 62, and I come upon a truck that's governed at 60. I should just set my cruise at 57 mph and shut up, or hell maybe I'll just set at 35 mph and turn my 4 ways on.

Either way, I'm glad I wasn't behind them in my 4. Drivers do this a lot here in Atlanta where many of us DON'T get paid to sit on the road, we get paid for what we accomplish. BOTH drivers were in the wrong for not COMMUNICATING. You see,
...what we have here is a failure to communicate.

I would think you'd have more game that to keep posting whiney rants about weather you should drive 35 mph with your 4 ways on, or weather you can pass a 60, while going 62 yourself. Of course you can - that manuvere should have you clear in about 1 minute.

Dude, I don't know how many times we have to say this, but most everyone here, myself included, has sympathy for you guys driving neutered trucks. But the sympathy ends when governed drivers take 5 miles to pass, or they get pissy with posts about how the rest of us are "super truckers" or post a typo.

Like I'm the bad guy for being stuck behind Swift for over 5 miles. HAhahaha. I'm so laffin'. (laughing, for those concerned)

Believe me...nobody here thinks you are a super trucker. You are no better than anyone else on these forums. The fact that you happen to drive a truck that is ungoverned doesn't make you better, smarter, stronger or more of a man than anyone, but you sure like to act like it does. The fact that you openly admit to cussing out people on the CB proves what a jerk you are.
I see your type all the time. 3 Feet off peoples bumper..cutting people off...screaming at people to get the hell out of your way. You are just as much of a problem as the driving school grad who just turned left into a sub-division. go ahead and reply with stupid smug comments. you know its the truth. I just hope you don't kill anyone while your taking pictures of what you perceive as other peoples 'stupidity'.
Hey Swift, keep doing whatever works for you...just shut your radio off and do what you have to do. I'll wait.
