Does a load have to go through a logistics company in order for an owner operator to haul it? Say you have a customer that wants you to haul directly from them, does the load have to go through a logistics company or broker?

Do you have your own authority? If so you can schedule the load directly. This is my understanding. Tks, PK

You guys with these questions are leaving out details, give an example and what you are, like USMC asked do you have your own authority, I have to ask did you sign an agreement with the broker not to pilfer the customer?

If you have MC# and insurance. That"s it, well a truck trailer drivers license does help also.

    No broker or logistics needed.

    Go get em

Thank you USMC and adayrider. That was what I was looking for. No I don't have my numbers yet put working on it. Going to get a truck first lease it with a company then work on getting authory and all that. A lot easier and cheaper.

USMC '74-'78 Semper Fi Thanks this.
