Dunno. The conestogas I've pulled were built on stepdeck and rgn trailers. An rgn conestoga is a rarity...the guys that pull those regularly will have their own customers. At least I would think they would.

I ordered a Utility 48x102 reefer in 89 with spread. I also got the front axle built as a slider so that I could close the spread part or all the way if desired. I didn't like having much over 34K on the spread because of the tail waging the dog feeling, but I really liked the way that trailer tracked and rode, especially in winter.

I installed dump independent dump valves on each axle. This make it really handy backing in, and if you were patient you could walk the trailer sideways by dumping the back one going backwards, and then dumping the front one going forwards. Rarely had to do that, and it took a lot of air, but came in handy a couple of times.

I know you were talking about flats, but the spread part should be relevant.

tommymonza, cke and Ruthless Thank this.
