In TN you can do everything but medical exam itself online. I left links in my first reply. TN system is trapping numerous CDL holders. Their description makes it sound like the web site method is optional, and a simple email will do the same. It wont. You will be downgraded unless you do web site, email, and phone call. The state will respond by email "request is solved" if they receive or don't receive your updated medical card.

I did mine in Jan as well. Went to dr in the am, then straight to DMV. Gave them the paper waited about 20 min til the guy could verify it was good to go, then left.

Again it’s funny that this is the first year that this has happened to me.

If all you do is email your new documents you will eventually be told your CDL is downgraded. Do the web site AND email your documents and then call a day later. Their email confirmation is unreliable. I got the same confirmation from the form submission they said they didn't get and the second submission they said they received.

Yes really. And you won't get the letter if they don't have correct address. It won't forward.

This is my 3rd letter. But for whatever reason. I never got the letter concerning fingerprints for haz endorsement.

Here's what the DOT physical and sleep apnea testing is all about.

This was the 3rd time I went through the process. This is the first time they confirmed they got my forms, sent me a warning they DID NOT get my forms, then confirmed they got my forms after I sent them a second time. Who knows if their last confirmation is valid. I only have a "request is solved" email and the word of Shatiqua over the telephone. The web site says DO NOT CALL to check your status. Call anyway unless you want to find out you've been driving CMVs without a CDL.
