Who can build a strong 1000-1500 Big Cam Cummins??

The 840 is timed at .101”.

It can run the timing like that because it has 17:1 compression pistons.

You need to leave your pump alone as the injectors used in the 838/840 are very low flow and increasing fuel pressure is almost guaranteed to wipe the cam lobes.

It you want to increase power you need a new set of injectors built for your specific cpl but at a higher flow rate.

Call Premco Diesel in Texas and ask for Warren. You will want to tell him exactly what you are working with, tell him you would like to increase injector flow to 210-220cc.

Once you get injectors changed then we can talk pump adjustments.
