I am sitting in a mom and pop restaurant with mama in the kitchen. 2 drivers walk in. Waitress tells them to sit anywhere they’d like. The waitress has to stop them from walking into the kitchen.

Backing a trailer against chock blocks or a curb is, in my opinion, a legitimate method of dealing with rusty slide rails. Or course, pulling against chock blocks is necessary to slide tandems backwards. The service brakes are used, not the parking brakes. That is one of the legitimate uses of the trolley valve, if your tractor has one. By the way, I am retired after 41 years as a driver in 48 states and Canada, including nine years as an owner operator. I certainly know how to adjust my trailer brakes.
