that's probably why none of mine have ever dropped I always buy new suction cups for them at least once a year cuz I'm always leaving the mount in the truck then I'll get switch to a different truck and have to buy a new suction cup never see it again.
For the Garmin 770 the suction cups about $15 on Amazon and for the 780 it's $39 -
7 is bigger and easier to read going down the road. It does take up more room than the 5 so be sure to put it where it won't obscure your view of traffic.BlueThunderr Thanks this.

Some people's eyes may not be as good and they might need a larger screenBumper Thanks this.

i just see it as a huge distraction. you should be focusing on the road and not a 8"gps screen. just my two cents.

I’ll sell you a new in box garmin 780 for 350...

You can do both. It actually helps because it shows you the road ahead, and your speed. Dont have to look down and read your mph which is far more dangerous. The bigger version allows traffic to be displayed on the right. Yesterday 25 miles from Chattanooga I got an alert of a 93 minute delay. I managed to get on I-59 and saved an hour. You can still see the road fine.MidWest_MacDaddy, Aamcotrans and Dieselboss Thank this.
