Can anyone provide a beginning and top pay (cents per mile) for the top major LTL linehaul? Thanks.

What are your parameters for what is to be considered the top LTL?

Highest CPM payscale at FXF starts at .5825 and ends at .718

Depends on the region. They all differ.

I believe ours currently starts at .59 and the current top is .674, but we aren't in Boise.

Not trying to hijack this but do you know much about what it takes to get to be a top-tier earner at FXF? years of service? Is that .718 a linehaul spot after so many years? As you know from the other thread I start at FXF in the near future.

I do not work for FedEx, but years of service and different regions probably pay more than others.

High jack away. I want to know as much about all of them. I actually worked for UPS Freight for 13 years and I am at ABF for the last 5. They want to do a change of Operation and I need all the info on as many LTL that service the PNW as possible. Just Incase this CoO doesn’t fit my needs.

48 month top out progression, that range I quoted is in the highest rate group. CPM is based on region and time served in the company, NOT the bid you have.

interesting I am also considering the PNW seattle-metro area as FXF has a facility in Kent WA from what I understand but Denver (Henderson) is looking more like it to me. But as far as the city driver goes, he said its 22.58 / 24.13 / 28.50 an hour during your 1st/2nd/3rd years if that helps. No idea though if that varies by region or what but 22ish seems to be the bare minimum they'd pay city drivers. But there again I cannot guarantee that.

edit- but I saw a position with FXF as a Road Driver doing linehaul, presumably (hub to hub), & I hear those guys start out around 54 cpm & goes on up. I honestly thinks thats where the big bucks are just from what I have heard.

    Renegade0311 Thanks this.
