“Lighten up Francis”!
You must have read something into it that I didn’t see. I read that a car stopped in the fast lane and the collision was not avoidable, but I wasn’t there and maybe with the run on sentence I missed it. Yes I know the difference and have seen a few things very similar in my 31 safe years that by the grace of god I was able to avoid. Only by luck in some cases but I still avoided. Without some luck I may not have avoided. Every single one of us can have stuff happen one day that may not be avoided and people such as yourself who are quick to judge are just as susceptible to an unavoidable accident. Hopefully it never happens to any of us but it can at any time.

I'm still stymied as to why the car stopped in the hammer lane, tbh. Insight? Almost 30 years on the road, all safe and sound.....myself. Why was the car there? Why was the SEMI there? Idk..too many if's and's or but's.fss99701 Thanks this.

That's true. I never have any problems of course I don't ride people's butt and I don't feel the need in a rainstorm to pull out in the Hammer Lane and pass everybody so I can gain an extra 5 miles an hour
Not saying that's what this girl was doing but I see it all the time.Tonythetruckerdude, InTooDeep, Bean Jr. and 4 others Thank this. -
Op stated the car in front of the one hit was claimed to have hydroplaned. The hit car was likely simply trying to avoid a wreck.
I also seriously doubt it was "stopped" as much as it was going very slow. But even if it was 100% stopped, it doesn't matter. The truck driver got impatient at people going too slow and was simply driving too fast. -
Well she said she had video on her dash cam.
Post the video and let us take a look that's the only way to tell what's the truth is. -
The only curve I can see is that one where 30 crosses us67.
If the car was stopped, she would not have stopped or slowed in time not to take it out.
And she said she hit the left rear which makes no sense unless it was straddling the next lane.
Best thing is to see the video.
By the way, the only thing the lawyer will do is to get rid of the ticket or reduce it, she has already is guilty of hitting the car and if they go to court about it, it will be an insurance thing. -
Malvern. In the middle. And a left hand curve for the eastbounders.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
