Yet another independent taken over by Peelot

D### could of atleast made it a TA/Petro. I have to be pretty hard up to stop at a P/FJ or a loves.

 

There’s a TA an exit further east.

 

I’m sure the previous owners chose to sell and it wasn’t “taken over” by Pilot.

 

Yeppers. I was about to reply with an updated title.

Because this is what I think of when I hear peelot....

 

Pilot approached the owner of a truckstop in my hometown (Murdo SD) initially about updating the property and then just franchising the diesel side, similar to what they do with Town Pump in Montana. They had a list of things they wanted done and the owner said she was going to choose not to do them because it was an investment larger than what she wanted to make. About 2 weeks later they came back to her with an offer to just buy the property because they wanted the location.

 

Is that the one on I-10 that has a Baja fresh or Qdoba or something?
