    Rat Fink, the way how I back my boat into the water is the way you described. I can drive up, put it in reverse and turn when needed. Works like a charm when theres a lot of people.

    i had a jet-ski trailer i converted to a trailer for my 16 ft johnboat. towed it with an old 70' stepside chevy with 4-5 inches of play in the wheel. TRY BACKING THAT BEAST UP:biggrin_2554:

    Like I said, the small white-out dot (not paint all over the wheel) worked for me, just passing it on. If it doesn't work for someone else, don't use it..
