I’ve got an attorney working on it, update they gave me last week was they got an extension on the court date and were working with the da on getting it reduced to equipment failure or something along those lines.

Good morning all! Just wanted to give an update, the lawyer got the ticket changed to equipment failure, total cost to me was $500 ticket/lawyer fees. Thank you all for the advice!
country293, PoleCrusher, Northeasterner and 5 others Thank this. -
Worked for me years ago in Louisiana. Give it a try!

I would contact the court and explain that this is your livelihood and this was an honest mistake. See if they will ammend the ticket before pleading out, 15 over has serious implications for you as a cdl holder. Other option is to get a lawyer who can try to negotiate on your behalf.

Are you talking about 50s and 60s, or are you talking about modern days?homeskillet Thanks this.
