Ha ha, ... I have been getting AARP crap in the mail since I was 40, I called them up and told them many times not to send me a thing, but they still do. My grandmother received this package in the mail with a bag with all the other goodies in it, she got really mad at them with this she called them and told them to stick it all up their ******, she was nasty about it. I asked her why and she said she didn't feel like she was 89 years old at all, but more like 60 and she didn't want anyone to remind her of her age.

Ha! I sent off an info request card to AARP for my ex a month prior to her 50th. Fine woman, but they all FAIL far too often on the spectrum of what’s funny.

That is hilarious. I get the same responses from my wife when I tell her I'm going to put up a new antenna or build a new antenna. She thinks it looks ghetto and AM radio is for nerds. I can handle that, I'll be a nerd. They keep me on the road so much I haven't had a chance yet to dabble in much with the new license but I have had a lot of success on repeaters with my HT and my homemade 2 meter ground plane.

I'm only 35 and I'm only in my fourth year of driving a commercial vehicle but I'm definitely, as I always say, old-school at heart. I like analog equipment, I like to turn dials, I like to watch meter swing and my radio only shuts off when this truck does. And you're absolutely right far too many drivers either have radios that aren't on or don't have them at all. The true professional driver is far and few between unfortunately. Everybody wants to wear their headphones and flip-flops and dirty tank tops. With their left foot on the dash at the cell phone on the steering wheel watching a freaking movie! I haven't been doing it long but I count myself a professional for several reasons one being the code that I drive by and the respect I have for other drivers. A guy started bagging on me because I told him I'd only been doing it four years. I told him, yeah that's the sad part. I've been doing it half as long as you may be less and I'm still twice the driver you'll probably ever be.

There wouldn't be any relevance unless the conditions were identical.

I'm trying to decide between that saying, tap tap tap pay attention, or cleaner is meaner for a tattoo.
