My truck got booted and towed

Bottles full of piss and trash. Thrown out in the open. Not all but some. That's why. I don't blame businesses and cities for taking harsh measures because of a few truckers and it only takes a few to ruin it for all of us.

 

@CK73 nailed it. Not only this but trash in general. Then depending on where if trucks park there all the time you got prostitution and drug activity as well. Every day more and more CMV parking gets taken off line because of this. Back in my home town a guy just finished putting up a chain link fence to stop parking. This trash thing is bad. I have sit behind the wheel of my truck while parked doing paperwork and watch drivers just open their door and sweep out trash, not dust or dirt, TRASH!

 

No. $4,900. Happened to a buddy of mine last week. The Walmart near his house was always good. He hadn't parked there for 2 months. He parked there and it wasn't there in the morning.

Charge for breaking into the truck to release the brakes. Whole rig with towtruck might be overweight, so they tow them separately. Charge for each. Impound for separately.

$4,900 happens really fast!

 

Not necessary anymore. According to FMCSA guidance, if you move the truck at the instruction of police, it is now PC. "4. Moving a CMV at the request of a safety official during the driver’s off-duty time"

Why do assume his company is bad and why should the company pay $5k for this guy bad decisions? If he would not want to pay this ticket I would fire his ### too
