Hopper bottom ? Experienced truckers only !

    For 2018 I grossed about 95k for about 55k miles, not great but I don't work real hard either.

    10-4 I have a buddy who hails otr he’s getting about 2500-3000k miles a week and grossed about 239 last year so what region are you running duck ?

    Most OTR hoppers are 43' long 78" tall and 102" wide. It's not to tall. But it's big enough to get a descent load of light commodities.

    Midwest, SD, NE, KS. There's other areas that pay better but they generally have too many people for me.

    To add to those specs, go for the Super Hopper with the big doors, vibrators on each side. Less clearance underneath, but makes unloading things like DDG, meat and bone meal, and soybean meal much much easier.

    And avoid hauling aggregates in a hopper bottom.
