Best of luck to you....listen to what you are told and if you have any questions asked them. Greg is a good instructor, and long as he sees that you are trying he will work with you. Looks like you might have a rainy week ahead of you, but you should be in the truck doing the "Millis 500" on Wednesday.

ok but i do have one question i have no kids as of yet and i have always been a hard worker puting in the long hours when possible at work . how much does the average driver make for the year and between the different options wut option seems to work out for most drivers when it comes to per diem and non perdiem like wut would be a average pay check be in a average week of work

how many hours are u allowed to drive a day and how long do u haft to sleep before u drive again
-
u can drive as many hours as you can get away with without putting it into the ditch
as for how much dough you can make....
if your smart you can do good
if you get to your destinations early in the am alot of times youll be the first to get unloaded in the morning
some guys choose to sleep at truck stops and casually drive over in the morning and then you might find 6 trucks ahead of you getting unloaded
then you also wont be ready to get the first load leaving that area
some guys get 2000 miles a week, some get 4000 miles a week
if you hustle and are a good planner youll do better then the guy who wants to sleep in
school wont teach you all the tricks...dont even bother asking
youll learn them once you hit the road
all good things in all good time
school will only teach you the very basics
once you hit the road youll learn to drive and how to run your time
thats when most of what you learned in school goes out the window
that doesnt mean you shouldnt pay attention in school...thats your foundation for what comes next
every day will be different on the road, somedays youll be pulling heavy loads, someday light loads, sometimes youll be in the mountains, somedays in the prairie in high winds
every day is a new day with new learning experiences
from day 1 learn everything that you can and remember it...someday what you learned on day 1 will come in handy
you will soon find out that driving a truck is much more work then holding on to a steering wheel
professional drivers arent given near the amount of credit they deserve
you will soon learn this for yourself
peace and good luck
