If you wanted to run down to Savannah, I’d be interested in talking to you, I have a new 2020 cascadia day cab ready on Tuesday, looking for a good driver, our guys are home every night, and clear 1100 a week on average. We don’t touch hazmat or doubles.
Over 2 years exp. Make $600 a week at swift. Suggestions?

Not bad, not good either. $600 / 70 = $8.5/hr. You’re just a tad bit above national minimum wage.
-
Actually, it's $900 (gross)/70= $12.86 an hr. Nothing to write home about, but you get my drift.

2 years of experience clean record $600 is insult. let them know you are moving on asap.

You need to brush up on the new Walmart. There are many conflicting stories coming from that part of the world right now. Driver pay, routing, days off, and a lot more are being impacted with new hires.
20 year vets are grumbling now. Something unheard of just 5 years ago -
Like I said I really don't know much about the OTR companies. Just from listening to some things I hear, it doesn't sound bad on the surface. I sure they have their issues as does every other trucking company.
1 benefit to driving for Walmart is you won't get booted or kicked for sleeping in the parking lot. -
if you already doing dedicated Walmart.. why not hire on with Walmart ?
Regarding pay, you can go about anywhere else and do better than than Swift -
We got a truck ready for ya.
