    Thats a #### shame isn't it?
You worked hard all year- Made over 3 bucks a mile average- probably 60-70 hours a week

Then you showed what?? a taxable income of 90-100k??

Doesn't that make you sick? Now you gotta fork out 30k in taxes because You worked hard- Which many in society today DO NOT.

    What?
You’re spending your money on business expenses and reducing your personal earnings.
    That’s awful.
The goal is to make money to spend on yourself, not your truck.

2018 I logged 138 days. Its not about what you can gross, its about what you can keep.

You know, I don’t mind paying taxes , however is outrageous when you read the news and find out that rich people not only don’t pay taxes , they get millions of dollars back !!!!
I applaud people who succeed , but as you know the system will help people who are on top and crush people who work hard to get above average .
But , you are right . Is sickening!

How can Overdrive or any other publication honestly state an O/O’s income? I am a privately held business, i only report my income to the IRS. Nobody but the IRS, my accountant, & myself know what i made/lost last year.

"The share of owner-operators expecting to tally more than $70,000 in net income for year 2018 was 27 percent smaller than the share that reported the same for 2017 net income, according to Overdrive’s recent surveys. That would throw many into mid-range or lower income brackets, as shown in the graph above."
